Clare’s Stained Glass Projection on Mars Cinema Kilrush

Experience Clare’s stained-glass heritage through an open-air projection on the Mars Cinema, Frances Street, Kilrush. The display will include work by Harry Clarke Studios, An Túr Gloine, Earley & Company, Watsons of Youghal, Murphy-Devitt Studios, and others, as well as medieval glass from Bunratty Castle. For Culture Night 2026, the former Mars Cinema will come alive as a high powered projector washes its façade with colour, light, and detail. Come along, look up, and see Clare’s stained-glass heritage brought to life in a new way. Drawing on five years of research, the project shares Clare’s stained glass in a free and accessible public presentation.
